“It was a lovely charming apartement with a cozy and comfortable bed. It's a bit cold this time of year but there was a thoughtful little heater and big wool blanket in the room in addition to the radiator which was very warm. Great sleep! Lovely space and everything feels quite walkable here in Siena.”

“This is a beautiful, but old building, with spacious rooms, a and high ceilings. But it is dark. Only one window that does not let in much light. So used our lights a lot. The property is in Trastevere, which is popular and busy, but our room was really quiet. The front desk/proprietor was extremely helpful in making a restaurant reservation and booking a car to the airport.”

“The location is great but owner does not let you know about the disadvantages arriving there... no car can enter the walls so you are expected to walk more than 15 minutes with suitcases and in our case health problems to arrive, self check in very poor, place is just a few steps from piazza del campo”

“We didn't get the e-mail with the codes to the doors. The wifi doesn't connect to the internet. Our room wasn't cleaned during our stay. The place lokks abandoned from the inside. The room wasclean when we arrived. The inside of the place looks nice. ”

“Room was exactly as described. The view was breathe-taking. Too narrow a window for check-in (2-4)pm, especially when arriving by train and trying to find the ever elusive taxis in Siena. There are 3 flights of stairs to handle and no elevator, but this is typical for older hotels in Italy. WiFi would have been nice.”
