“We ended up The Glengower because of an error with our original booking. It ended up being a much better option: the staff was lovely, the bar and restaurant was great, and the rooms were nice and comfortable for what we needed. And right by the water and shops around the corner. We would definitely stay here again.”

“New management has made many upgrades to the property. This was the first time I visited, so I didn't miss the old quirks; I found the place delightful. The Snug is a lovely lounge with wood-burning fire that was great for a cold night. I'm sure the outside tables would be lovely in warm weather. The location right next to the footbridge is charming. I stayed in room 2; the bathroom was a bit small and awkward, but I understand they have to work with the structure that's there.”

“We stayed just one night but found the location just perfect being just a few minutes walk to the seafront and the town with plenty of parking and views out over the sea. The hotel was dog friendly we had a very comfortable large room and a lovely breakfast with great service. I can’t recommend this hotel more…. it was perfect!”
