To access the rooms from the front desk you had to go down 3 stairs across an eating area and bar thru a covered bar thru a door and down 3 steps thru the gelato shop and then up the elevator. The pool area sounded like they were running all the air conditioning units for all of Miami.

I always stay at The Breakwater Hotel! Lily, Oscar and Martin are so friendly and make me feel like a VIP when I check in every time!! It is the best location in South Beach and great value for money. Quiet, clean, safe and located minutes away from all the nightlife not to mention the beach and boardwalk.
