“Very nice property. The old west theme is carried in the room decor and throughout the grounds. The balcony is great. It overlooks the river. Great for a morning coffee or late night beverage. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.”

“Nice to see the river from room. Quiet. Even with traffic from Hwy 20 (across the river). Dated decor. Minimal amenities - slinky towels. Short toilet. Plenty of hot water. Only one small mirror in tight space. Lighting is low and will not make you look good! Good access to town of Winthrop. We’re able to walk in about 10-15 minutes. Don’t try breakfast - it was an odd setup.”

“This is a great location with all the amenities! The pool was awesome, the views are great. There’s hiking and horse back riding on the property as well as SPA treatments. We ate at the restaurant but was not impressed with the food. However you may not have a lot of dining options and at least it was available! My only complaint was the AC was very loud and did not seem to cool the room down.”

“Contactless check in, a rustic cabin, clean and comfy for 1 night. Had basic kitchen supplies, coffee machine, microwave and stove. Had a very comfortable stay here.”

“The Mt Gardner Inn is a good place to stay when you're in the cute town of Winthrop, WA. I was in room 4. I expected a mountain view, but this room is beside the back parking lot. I think the rooms in the back building looked much nicer. The bed was comfortable and it's nice there is a good refrigerator plus microwave.”
