“Overall, good experience and would come back. The property itself is absolutely beautiful and has more coastline than any other hotel in Mendocino as far as I know. Multiple lookout points on bluffs and semi private access to a rocky beach. The room was clean and comfortable with vaulted ceilings, a large bathroom with heated floors. The property itself is so nice that it deserves a higher level of service and amenities. Dinner menu was small and not impressive so we chose to eat elsewhere....

“I like Surf Motel, even though it does not have an ocean view, because it is reasonably priced, well-maintained, and the central garden area gives it a special, homey feel. Traffic noise is not a consideration, and the location is convenient to Fort Bragg's features and very close to the harbor.”

“Location is very convenient, parking easy, spacious rooms, although quite outdated. Front desk availability is limited, amenities also limited”

“I thought the price was reasonable. But they forgot to mention it doesn't include the restroom. So I paid around $30 more to get restroom included… LOLZ And no TV. in the hotel!!! The lady who works front desk said no elevator to go upstairs with big luggages.”
