“Property took my money, then advised us not to travel at less than 24hrs notice, leaving me without a place to stay and without refund. Hotels.com did nothing about it. The property are now ignoring hotels.com and therefore no refund will be issued. Utter madness. I have used this website for many stays over many years. I will not be using again”

“SCAM!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!! Paid for my sons birthday weekend away (4y.o) drove 2.5 hours to get here and the host didnt send us entry code to the apartment so couldnt get in. Expedia confirmed all booking, tried to contact the host but blocking my calle. Texts delivered and left voicemails asking to call us but had no reply. Took our money and put a case with expedia and they refused to refund ao had to contact fraud department with my bank and pay for a hotel late at night instead!! Ruined...

“We could’nt get access into the property and couldn’t get hold of the managing agent, spent 2 hrs trying to get in, gave up and the whole area was fully booked. Absolute nightmare. The check in instructions were to download an app and then there were no details like property number, none of the key boxes were responsive. Contacted Expedia and spent a further 2 hrs on the phone to them and they also could not get in touch with the managing agent. The building had poor lighting outside and was...

“A gem of a cottage which had been restored to a really high standard. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, log burner with plenty of wood and loved all the decor/pictures throughout. A welcome basket with local goodies was also a nice touch. We loved the folder full of the history on the property and all the pictures of the other houses/buildings in the village which we went to find on our walks with our dog. Would highly recommend. ”

“Spent 2 nights here recently visiting relatives in the area and loved it. Very clean, modern and comfortable and we felt very at home. All the kitchen amenities that you would need and a walk in shower to die for. We will definitely book again when in the area.”

“I got the impression that this property was only very recently set up for guests. The benefit is that everything is brand new and clean. However, there were a few teething issues which were resolved satisfactorily, and the property manager was in constant communication throughout. There is adequate parking too. I would use again next time I'm in the area. ”

“Apartment was lovely - they had thought of everything, but what then let it down, was the use of cheap blinds that were almost see through and poorly fitting, and no curtains in the bedroom! There was also an overwhelming smell of what seemed to be damp. The apartment was really well thought out and very comfortable, but just let down by those 2 things.”

“Lovely twixmas weekend stay for 2 and a dog, great location, minutes away from the beach, pub a couple of minutes in the other direction. Cosy cottage with a fireplace (wood provided) well presented and lovely decor. One very minor point I didn’t like was the clear glass panel on the main door giving a view straight into the cottage, a curtain or frosting would give more privacy ”
