“Warm welcoming check in. Older rooms but huge and the ac will cool the room off quickly. Gorgeous view through the window of the St Croix River. Quiet stay.”

“great location, nice property, room was spacious and clean BUT the cleaning products used were so strong smelling, that I had to leave the door open all night and still had a headache from the smell the next morning and had to check out instead of staying another night. also, the bathroom had no where to put stuff.”

“This is a lower priced motel in the Bar Harbor area. I have watched the upkeep and general condition of the property decline over the past few years. Also wireless service was nearly useless, a real aggravation when checking times or making reservations, or even to find local businesses and restaurants.”

“This motel is the worst lodging I have ever encountered. There is no standard to compare it - makes Motel 6 look like a luxury hotel. The reception and staff were cold and rude. I was traveling with my daughter and we didn't feel safe or comfortable. There were random men sitting around outside in the parking lot when we checked into our room. The lock on the room didn't seem very secure and we didn't feel comfortable at all. The room had a terrible odor of old and damp wood from the dark wood...

“When arrived to check in, we went to the assigned room which had not been cleaned or made up since the prior guests. Reservation was cancelled by the receptionist. Thankfully!!”

“We stayed in the motel portion. The location is convenient and our room was ok, but the bathroom had a sliding door with no locking mechanism, which is quite ridiculous when there is a family staying in the room. When I emailed the property twice about this, both emails were ignored. Similarly, I messaged them with a request for "late" checkout (11 am, since their checkout is a ridiculously early 10 am), I received no response.”
