“We planned an Aug '26 trip to Maine months in advance from Florida. Expedia or the rental Mgr requires a credit card to hold the room. Our schedule changed in May '26, so I cancelled the room. On Friday evening 8/7, we get a call from the Mgr wondering where we are. We relayed that we canceled the booking months ago. We were still charged for the nights' stay. This is a fraudulent charge & no way to run a business. Be careful if you have to use your cc to hold a room, then have to cancel.”

“Seascape was the perfect stop between Portland and Bar Harbor. Loved the special touches and surprise music theme of the cottage. And I had a great cup of coffee to start the day in the cute little kitchenette. Very clean, cold AC, and thoughtful little “extras.””

“Recently very carefully & fully renovated 1950s-era classic wood-paneled motel rooms — small rooms but that’s how ALL independently-owned, moderate-priced motel rooms were in 1950s-‘60s — so if you want to experience “living history” — but super clean, newly carefully renovated, nice flower window boxes — then this is your place. Independent owners on-site, excellent maintenance throughout, housekeeping staff are carefully attentive/energetic/friendly, very good quality double bed, super clean...

“I didn't like that there was no table in the room or on the balcony to set a drink or food etc. on. I wasn't too happy with the breakfast choices. The muffins were awful. I wasn't able to enjoy the pool. The kids were a little rowdy.”
