“We planned an Aug '26 trip to Maine months in advance from Florida. Expedia or the rental Mgr requires a credit card to hold the room. Our schedule changed in May '26, so I cancelled the room. On Friday evening 8/7, we get a call from the Mgr wondering where we are. We relayed that we canceled the booking months ago. We were still charged for the nights' stay. This is a fraudulent charge & no way to run a business. Be careful if you have to use your cc to hold a room, then have to cancel.”

“We don't expect much when we check into a motel, but this one so exceeded our expectations that we were actually sad we couldn't stay more than one night. The enormous room had a couch, easy chairs, a nice table, and plenty of room for all of our luggage. The view of the bay could not have been nicer—what a wonderful surprise! We were very comfortable and enjoyed a relaxing evening on an otherwise very hectic trip. We highly recommend this charming hotel.”

“Hot water took forever in bathroom sink and when using shower, hot water was available at first, then dropped out for a period before coming back. Breakfast was very limited. Getting out of parking lot was tough due to traffic in both directions.”

“Spacious room at a reasonable price. This is pretty no frills, but it's so close to Acadia and other amenities that this was where we wanted to stay. Also got an awesome recommendation to go to Winter Harbor instead of Bar Harbor, which was so much less crowded and wonderfully beautiful. We'd stay at this hotel again.”

“Great location! Just a 3min walk from the free island explorer shuttle to the north (Bar Harbor Campground stop) and an amazing BBQ and ice cream place to the south (Mainely Meat BBQ/Udder Heaven Ice Cream). The pool was lovely, the staff was friendly, and it was exactly what we expected.”

“Clean room with microwave and refrigerator. Plenty of parking spaces close to the rooms. All communication was done via text messages with quick responses.”
