“Stayed here several times when visiting family Had a lovely large room with walk in shower Shower was very powerful Room was lovely and warm when I arrived which was nice Check in was super quick and easy as well ”

“The room was spacious and newly decorated, with a very comfy bed, and all spotless. Staff were very friendly and helfpul. The pool and sauna were a great bonus (note that the saunas are in the changing rooms, one for women and one for men). ”

“Met my good walking friend here. We walked the coastal path from the Sawmills to Lee Bay. The coastal path was a stones throw from the pub. Staff were able to signpost us to the path well. They even checked us into our room at 0945 !!!! Wow!! Loved the fairy lights on our return! Loved the menu: we both had curry, one fish, one sweet potato... So yummy!!! Lovely comfy room and dog friendly too!! After out 9 miles,and a quick end of day dip in Coombe Martin, we both loved the huge sunflower...

“Had a family room in the annexe overlooking the river. Very spacious for us and the dog. The only negatives a bigger fridge would have been nice for a week's stay. And there was workmgoing on at the building next door so a bit noisy but would definitely stay again”

Everything seemed to be done cheaply and not very well. Disappointed that the decor didn’t do justice to such a historic building ”
