Beautiful little hotel just steps from Paddington Station with wonderful 24/7 staff. Great pub around the corner and convenient for an early train to the airport. It has NO lift and lots of stairs; and train noise is definitely noticeable, but if those things are not important, it is perfect.

This hotel is exceptionally clean, conveniently located, and an excellent value. The rooms and property are all fresh and updated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I stayed here with my teenage daughter in July. We loved the rooms! They were small, most definitely, but we weren't looking for spacious rooms, just affordable, safe, clean, and cute. Our stay here checked each of those boxes. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a wonderful little gem within 2 blocks of direct train line (Elizabeth) from Heathrow Airport. Easy walk to Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace and all the sights. The room was clean and comfortable with the character one would expect from a building over a century old, as nd yes - bathroom was small but adequate. Walls were a bit thin but we always travel with earplugs. The staff were AWSOME. So very warm, friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. No elevator or as the only drawback.

An excellent stay for our first time visiting London! Staff was kind and helpful and the accommodations were comfortable and clean. We had a lovely time and were happy to find how easy it was to travel around the city from the hotel’s ideal location right down from Paddington. A definite recommendation to any planning on visiting London, and we’d be happy to come back to St. David’s on our next trip! 🙏

Nice room overlooking the front, on second floor. no lift so maybe difficult for some. Water, nespresso coffee, and snacks available on ground floor which was useful but local cafes and restaurants and Paddington station meant it was very easy to go out and get food and drink. Recommend the Little Cafe for breakfast, and the Lebanese restaurant for wonderful fresh food. Room was clean, comfortable, good shower with hot water, tiny sink made teeth brushing a little awkward (could do with cups for rinsing). Safe in room, plenty of good lighting, usb and sockets for technology. Very helpful staff, would definitely return

Stayed for six nights in July 2025, the best thing about the property was the location. It’s a three minute walk to Paddington Station(which has good food option, especially for grab and go breakfasts) which allows you to access all parts of London, Heathrow, Gatwick, everything that’s on your bucket list, Big Ben, the tower of London, Wimbledon, we went all the way to Portsmouth and it was a snap. We had a room overlooking the park in front and it was great. If you’ve never been to London, this is a really good spot to make a start and see what London is.
