"We arrived on Ascencion day from the little yellow train to no bus or taxi from Villefranc to the hotel - locals gathered together at the station to take us to the hotel in a private car - refused to accept any payment. Next day we needed to do washing, again let down by taxi's to get to laundry (at the local supermarket and a local again gave us a lift but let down again by taxi's to return (not far enough). The dryer did not work so back to hotel with damp washing. Immediately hotel stepped...

"Not a great experience. They never replied to my emails asking about facilities. Confirmation and T&C's only sent to me on day of arrival. It only took 5 hours for someone to give us a key to get in. Oh and don't forget to take your own cups and glasses to make up for what's missing. It's a great shame as if some effort was made it would be a great base for a cheap getaway. "

She was able to provide secure storage for my bike around the corner from the property. The room was smartly furnished and a generous size. The breakfast, as noted by others, was delicious and extensive. It was a pleasure to share it with some other guests. Shops and centre ville are close by. I would definitely stay again."
