I usually don't do any reviews, but I feel it's necessary for this property. For starters, the address wasn't accurate. We.were dropped off at the address provided by Expedia and the resort. The front desk asked for my booking information. I gave them my reservation number. That wasn't good enough, I gave my name and showed them my confirmation information. I had a screenshot of everything. They asked me to pull it up on my phone, that was an impossible task. There was no wifi in the lobby, only in the rooms. I had service, but with all the 18 story buildings around I didn't have service. After all of this, we had to walk to another building with all of our luggage. We finally arrive at the other building and after another 15-20 minutes, we finally get checked in.
We get to our room, we dropped our luggage off and proceeded to check out the property. We ended up walking to a local area with several options for food. Food was great!! We came back to the room and settled in for.the night. We noticed there was a strange/nasty odor.in the room. We couldn't pinpoint where is was coming from. (I'll explain the odor shortly). Around 11:00 pm, we decided to take a shower before going to bed. It turns out there was no hot water. I contacted the resort, two maintenance men came up and couldn't work/fix the problem. I was told they didn't have permission from the owner to fix the problem. Basically we had to deal with it and take cold shower. They would.be back tomorrow, then left.
