“Lovely stay at the South Sands. Room was comfortable with a huge walk in shower and separate roll top bath. Included breakfast was great and dinner was also very good. Perfect setting on the beach. Had a great free car park. Only fault was sound proofing of the room. Was quite noisy, especially when trying to go to sleep. Luckily we always pack ear plugs so didn’t affect us for long. “Did not see any staff all weekend, key left in front porch with a note on arrival. Place felt ambandoned and un safe, had it not been height of summer season would have looked for alternative on night of arrival. Advertised details incorrect no restaurant or food available after 5 hour drive had to go out to find food. Plates and cultery left in room with very noisy fridge next to bed, expected to wash up in basin in bathroom. Farm in the middle of nowhere so no where to get food. Down stairs...
