"The hotel is in need of renovation: carpets and walls in the corridors are quite outdated. The shower drain grate would come out of position just by stepping on it leaving the screws exposed and making shower time a challenge. they said they were going to fix it but the next day the problem was still there. "The hotel location is very convenient. From Varenna train station, it’s about 1 block. Across the street from the Ferry Terminal and the city center is about 5 minute walk from the Ferry terminal. The hotel is not fancy but very comfortable and super clean. The included breakfast was very good. The breakfast and checkin was at the sister hotel about 5 minute walk. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. Our room even had a partial lake view. "
