“Beautiful location. Our room was not ready at check-in. Told us it would be @ 15 minutes. We had to wait an hour. Hostess in restaurant was quite rude two nights in a row. We weren’t able to eat at restaurant because they had a large group of 20 so they shut down kitchen early, even though we were guests of the lodge. I think they are short of staff. Very disappointed.”

“The place is about half hour from Seward which is great if you don’t get accommodation in Seward. We stayed in cabin 6, and there was junk yard all around that with old broken vehicles which is not a good sight. I felt the place was overpriced”

“The property needs updating and repairs. The light over my bed was falling off. They had curtain rods up butno curtains. we could hear the people above us. wokeus up in the morning.I would not recommend staying here.”

“Marie was an excellent host and wealth of knowledge as to what to see,do,and eat while in Homer. And her breakfasts were spectacular!! Loved the homemade fresh jams, jellies, and syrups. The room and restroom was spacious and clean. Probably the best view from the deck balcony that we have seen in a number of years. We highly recommend the Majestic B&B for the perfect stay while in Homer, Alaska.”

“My husband and I enjoyed our stay at The Hibernation Station. The location was perfect for our day trips. It is not luxurious but served us well. The owners were friendly and helpful. The lady cleaning rooms was very nice too. We could get extra supplies on our own or ask her or owners. I liked the locks on the doors. They could use some new mattresses and towels.
