“This is a good "brand" type hotel, new and well-appointed and reasonable. With eagles nesting in the parking lot trees. A decent location, close to a supermarket and restaurants, very helpful staff. It also works as a corporate events place but the rates were normal.”

“Not flexible with reservations, highway was blocked and couldn’t make my 4th of July stay (which they could’ve easily filled) and they weren’t willing to change my reservation date. These kinds of things deserve a negative rating.”

The room and restroom was spacious and clean. Probably the best view from the deck balcony that we have seen in a number of years. We highly recommend the Majestic B&B for the perfect stay while in Homer, Alaska.”

“I called the front desk because the shower, the water it gets so hot and I cant get it warm. Also I ask for air freshener because the room has smell. I put towel in my pillow because there’s a smell also. Some mosquitoes inside the room too.”

When I realized it and contacted the lodge, the lodge team was incredibly helpful. They found it immediately, mailed it back to me and even covered the postage, telling me not to worry about it. “We had an awesome stay in Homer at the Pioneer Inn. The room perfectly suited our needs and Lila & Paula were amazing. Very responsive to questions and checking in to assure our stay was satisfactory. Also, I tweeked my knee, because you know, walking is hard :). They drove me to the medical center to get it checked out, and came back to pick me up afterward. They also helped me to find a knee brace in town. I would definitely stay at the Pioneer Inn when in Homer again.”
