“This slightly vintage cabin-like accommodation in the beautiful forest was the perfect place to base one’s stay in the Seward area for tours, hikes, etc. The local restaurant was quite good as well.”

“Our room was a rustic retreat! We loved the whole resort that had an exceptional welcoming front desk staff. Our room was comfy. A bit dated but that’s the rustic retreat look that made it feel so cozy. There’s a wood fire stove in the room but we didn’t use it because it was so warm that evening. Breakfast and dinner was very good!! I ordered a soup and did not like it, my husband loved his. They brought me something else and were so nice about it.”

“Amazing location where you can see the mountain from the room window. There is a common space to sit outside and also they provide coffee in the morning. Staff is very friendly and nice. Rooms are decently spacious.”

“We were welcomed quickly after a 2 day train ride from Fairbanks and our fatigued selves were treated to an early check in, bags delivered from the train and hotel transport to our cruise ship the next day. Centrally located in the harbor, everything was walkable and when we needed a taxi at 5 am for a minor crisis they found us one right away. Great people”

“We had a day of king salmon fishing planned in the area, so we decided to stay in Soldotna for the night. We paid $234 for a double queen room. The room had several issues. The air conditioner rattled throughout the night, one of the mattresses sagged noticeably in the middle, and the door was difficult to close properly. On the positive side, the room was clean, the breakfast was great, and the staff accommodated an early check-in, which we appreciated. Would I stay here again? Probably not...

“Such a GREAT location in the city end of Seward. Walking distance between the shore, restaurant choices, bike/walking path, and a covered stop for the free shuttle (has 14 stops) to get around the Seward area which consists of City and Harbor areas.”

“What a great experience! The Yurt was great! It was super clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable! There is no bathroom in the Yurt - - there are portable toilets and a shower a short walk away. Overall I would recommend this for a unique Alaska experience!”

“This is a lovely and quaint bed-and-breakfast in Seward. The location is good for exploring the historic downtown area with the shops and restaurants. There is a city shuttle if you wanna go further north in town for some excursions. Most excursion companies also offer a free pick up. It is a much better neighborhood to stay and then uptown. Sara and her staff operate this property and take care of your every need. The morning, hot breakfast to order was outstanding! We enjoyed fresh fruit...
