“It is an absolutely lovely spot to relax… if there are no other guests staying. We were the only ones there the first night and it was beautifully quiet. The second night, not so much. Could hear every footstep above and people walking the halls and could hear conversations. Additionally, the first night, we could not figure out how to adjust the heat. “The resort has been around for many years and over the years they have expanded at added more upscale rooms. To save money, I selected the older, smaller single rooms. It was very spartan. However, it was clean, it had a microwave and fridge. What it lacked was a comfortable chair, space, modern upgrades including more outlets. The staff was exceptional and attentive to my needs.”

“Our stay was perfect! The setting was lovely against the mountains. There was a walking path decorated with delightful sculptures around the property. Our room was large and tastefully decorated. The owners were very personable. Breakfast was on time and tasty. I would definitely recommend this place. ”

“It is not fancy and the television wasn't working the first night, the restaurant wasn't open for dinner but the views were stunning. We had a really yummy traditional breakfast for only $10 a plate which was our cheapest meal of the trip. We aren't picky We were just happy to be in Alaska ”

“The room was quiet and comfortable. My only complaint was the towels looked like bar rags. You collect a credit card with deposit if you are afraid your guests might steal your towels, what is the problem. Decent towels would improve the over all appearance of the room.”
