“This property shares its first floor and lobby with Major Marine Tours. Outsiders over run the area that should have been a lobby. Lack of privacy. The breakfast area was crowded and lacked sitting to accommodate guests. Parking is at a premium, not enough for guests. Our Kenai all day tour did not leave from hotel but the dock was down the street. So we had to walk a distance. Not worth the $500 per day rate.”

“Sometimes a hotel looks too good to be true! That is not the case with this hotel. It is as good as it looks in the pictures and better! Cheyenne and Angie have worked hard to renovate this hotel and make it a special spot for visitors to land. And it shows in all the many details. And one of those details is Cheyenne and Angie themselves. They went above and beyond to welcome us and make sure every need was met. And they were there to greet you every time you walked in the door with a smile...

“This is a lovely spot to stay when visiting Seward. It is located on the road to Exit Glacier, a bit out of the hustle and bustle of town. It sits in a nice wooded area and rooms are clean and well-kept (but not fancy). There is a restaurant on site and they provide a shuttle into town. Both the hotel and the restaurant are a bit pricey for the but we enjoyed having a more natural location.”

“We had a small porch which faced a babbling brook. It had a fire pit. We enjoyed sitting and watching wildlife. There was a moose who walked through. The was a Dipper bird, which is a songbird that can dive in the water and collect insects. Bathrooms were in a separate building. Very high quality bathroom and showers. They were a short distance. We were very happy for our two days. It was very close to Seward.”

“The room was clean, the property was well located and easy to find. But it missed basic amenities. We booked a double queen room for 3 nights. It didn’t have any cabinet/closet/storage area. Neither did it have paper plates towels or basic kitchen necessities. It didn’t even have shower gel or handwash in the bathroom. For the price we paid, the experience was subpar. :(”
