“My husband and I enjoyed our stay at The Hibernation Station. The location was perfect for our day trips. It is not luxurious but served us well. The owners were friendly and helpful. The lady cleaning rooms was very nice too. We could get extra supplies on our own or ask her or owners. I liked the locks on the doors. They could use some new mattresses and towels. “Beautiful location and very convenient for exploring the Spit and accessing activities and tours launching from the Spit. Comfortable bed and good sized room.”

“This is a good "brand" type hotel, new and well-appointed and reasonable. With eagles nesting in the parking lot trees. A decent location, close to a supermarket and restaurants, very helpful staff. It also works as a corporate events place but the rates were normal.”

“This place had an amazing restaurant on site, parking was easy, the lobby was gorgeous and also had a coffee station with breakfast items in the lobby. The lobby had a gorgeous fireplace and gift shop. In terms of the rooms, this was nice / standard and the bed was comfy. I especially liked this place had black out Curtains and a fridge ( this was our best place lodging in Alaska during our stay) would recommend and stay again,”
