"Amazing experience at Novotel Kata Avista. We were staying in a family room as travelled with our 2 children. The room was great with wonderful little gestures for the children. The hotel catters very well for the little ones - the kids club, rooms, breakfast, small swimming pool etc. The only drawback would be that the hotel is situated on a steep hill but this didn't bother us and even the children managed to go up and downhill twice a day. The hotel offered free shuttle to the beach but honestly, it is so close that it is not worth using it. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby."

Since we stayed in April, the heat was quite intense most of the time — but with the beach just steps away and the pool within reach, a refreshing dip was always available. A few things to note: the beach is public, but sunbeds can be rented. There are also three restaurants right on the beach just outside the hotel, as well as a great beachfront bar/restaurant that stays open late. "
