"After booking a major hotel in the area and leaving after ten minutes I fell upon this gem. Right on the sea front so walkable to everything. Staff were great, shower really good and the hotel very clean. Small coffee/ tea self service in reception and a few breakfast pastries. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again "

"Gran Hotel Miramar is beautiful and in a nice quiet location. It has stunning views of the sea and a lovely pool area. The staff are very kind and efficient. we truly enjoyed our stay and would return."

"Great hotel, very friendly staff. Room clean and spacious. Outside was cold but the room was a bit too warm, we couldn’t turn the temperature down beyond 21 degrees. There was a window to cool the room. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Car parking in the shopping centre was cheap and easy and you can checkout of the room and leave your car all day at no extra charge."

"Lovely stay at this hotel. Excellent staff and lovely location. Big comfy clean rooms and just five minutes walk to the train station. Luggage storage after checkout available. Excellent spa facilities however steam room wasn't working when we visited. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Very central hotel in centre ...decor is very nice..our room was a good size comfy bed ...nice views of Málaga and sea....breakfast was excellent...served until 1 30 pm. Sometimes wasn't very hot food though...shame! .lots of choice...friendly staff throughout hotel..very reasonable bar prices....."

"Overall a Lovely Hotel with friendly staff. A lady at reception went to a lot of trouble to try get us a dentist on a Saturday unfortunately was unable to but did try her best. There was a mix up with our complementary drink which we didn't receive on check in so I mentioned it on check out and they offered a glass of prosecco. "The hotel is fantastic, the staff was so friendly, the food spread was delicious and variable. The breakfast was my favourite, fresh guacamole, amongst other things, was the best way to start the day! For those wanting to travel by bus there is a bus stop right outside the hotel. It takes about 40 minutes to get to the city centre. There is also a QR code listed at the stop which tells in how many minutes the bus will arrive at the stop, this is extremely handy for planning the departure time...

"We had the private room for 4 people, it was great although had no storage or hooks and was also tiny for 3 people. Cleanliness was good other than a pile of old hair in the shower. Also be warned that the bunk beds are hard to get into as the steps are very steep. Location is perfect, so close to everything but the hostel was still super quiet at night so this didn’t affect sleep. Overall a modern, attractive place to stay and great value for money "

"Large apart-hotel by the beach, 15 minutes scenic walk on the promenade to Nerja. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a balcony and beautiful views. The decor was slightly outdated but the apartment was particularly spacious, very comfortable and with a big bathroom. It was spotless and thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis by friendly staff.
