This is a gorgeously restored 128 year old mansion in Antalya’s old town. Our room, as advertised, was extremely small but gorgeous and very comfortable. The bed, pillows and linens were high quality and the bathroom was spacious and recently renovated. There was a large wooden wardrobe with ample space so we could unpack what we needed and put our suitcases to the side - something I cannot say about a few of the other places I’ve stayed in Turkey.
The breakfast was excellent - again, the quarters are tight but the staff goes out of their way to provide exceptional service. We ate our meals outside, by the pool under a huge umbrella. Even though the weather was cold and rainy, we were comfortable and happy to linger after breakfast and drink coffee.
The staff of the Lykia go out of their way to provide you with information and every comfort. The few downsides: small rooms, no elevator, no nearby parking- were minor compared to how comfortable, luxurious and perfectly situated The Lykia is. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Antalya.
