“We regularly eat here but this was the first time we had ever stayed overnight. Our bedroom was beautiful with lovely views over the garden. Really comfortable bed and clean linen. Good sized shower and had everything that you needed. Helpful staff and easy check in. Definitely recommend. We will be returning. ”

“Lovely olde world pub-restaurant. Excellent food, both breakfasts and evening meals.This is a real heart of the community pub, with lots going on, including a Petanque match, when we were there. Check-in at the bar was easy. The service was very friendly and excellent throughout. A well stocked bar, including a local beer, 'Gem' by name and 'Gem' by nature. The en-suite double room was clean and comfortablebut you are better off relaxing in the bars downstairs, where there was two dining lounges...
