Parts of the hotel could do with some tlc, but the breakfast room, dining room and bar area were lovely and the food was great. We liked the gardens with the river at the bottom. “The property was nice but felt like any little “extra” came at a cost. Hot Tub? You had to pay per person for 30 minutes. Have not seen that before. No laundry facilities as advertised and cake in drawing room was added to invoice on check out. Nice property but be aware of extras. ”

“The hotel and our room was visually well decorated and quirky. Our room was unreasonably hot without the heater even being on. The temperature outside being approximately 13o. We could not open our window as some sort of generator was right outside. Noisey and possibly the source of the heat in our room?? The breakfast was again visually gorgeous and the breakfast selections ample.”
