During my recent stay at the Leonardo, I encountered several issues that significantly affected my experience. While the concierge staff was consistently helpful, the lack of air conditioning made the building unbearably hot and muggy. The windows barely opened, and there were no top sheets for the bedding. Additionally, there was no screen protector on the windows, so we had to keep the lights off at night to prevent bugs from entering the room. Furthermore, there was no ice machine, and even the cleaning staff had to use fans to cool down due to the heat.
The bathroom also had its share of problems, including a crooked toilet seat that couldn't be fixed, a soap regulator that limited the amount dispensed, scalding hot water from the tap, and a shower head that couldn't be removed from the wall.
One other important thing to mention is the location. This hotel is located outside the city, so to reach the city center, you can expect a 30-minute walk or a £10 taxi ride, which may require some waiting. The view from the hotel was also terrible.
To top it off, the pillows were uncomfortably stiff, and when we requested new pillows, we were informed that there were no additional pillows available. Additionally, the bed wheels were not locked, which caused inconvenience. Overall, these issues made my stay at the Leonardo less than satisfactory.
