Stayed at CozySuites this weekend from out of town to watch a play at the IRT and visit the Newfield Museum. The property is in a very good location near restaurants and boutique shopping. The room was clean with a spacious bathroom, and a great view of the neighboring Rathskeller patio. I would normally rate a 5 out of 5, however, my wife and I experienced EXTREMELY poor service. Upon check-in, we were offered early check in, which would have been very helpful as our play was at 5pm (check in at 4pm), this was later rescinded by the property. Furthermore, upon check in our reservation said we had room #12, when looking around the property we couldn’t find the room, after 15 minutes we called the help line and they gave us our correct room (208) and code to get in. During our search we ran into another couple in the elevator who were looking for #38, we had to tell them to call the help line for their correct room. Very poor communication. Upon checking out, we received a text asking if we would like a late check out which I responded “Yes”. Then I received a response that a late check out was not available. I completely understand if this needs to be approved, but if you are not going to award these extensions don’t offer them. Lastly, the cleaning crew walked in on my wife early, prior to the check out deadline. Didn’t knock the door, UNLOCKED the door and just walked in!
