“Kelly was absolutely lovely. She made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived and was very attentive throughout my stay. The place was spotless, comfortable, cozy and well equipped, and the scones on arrival were a lovely touch. Thank you so much — would love to come again!”

“Very dated decor ( not necessarily Victorian!) so many higgldy pickdly steps and differing floor levels all over the place. Was a pleasant stay but definitely not for anyone with mobility concern. ”

“The thermostats controlling the aircon/heaters were mounted directly in line with the heater outlets so that whenever the heater kicked in the thermostat immediately thought the room had reached the right temperature. This comical setup had been installed in our bedroom and also my sister's room. The name of the installers was, amazingly, printed on the units. The hotel management would be well advised to get the installers back to correct the locations of the thermostats - at no cost to...

“Room and bed are cleaned well and morning breakfast is served also good. But ventilation is not good. Doesn't have any air conditioner so room is filled with hot air when checked in. Hotel is closed to road so that buzzing vehicles noise comes into window over night make me hard to sleep. Electric hot pot is served with stain inside so there's no way to make tea in the room.”

“We were not informed of the internet password. We did not have any hotel information available as it transpires the info booklets were behind ghe reception desk. We also tried to walk into the town but could not because the gate is coded. We did not know this prior to walking as we had no info. The radiator in the bathroom was scolding hot. We did advise reception and supposedly it was repaired. Sadly it was not .. we slept with three windows open and two fans running all night! Interestingly...

“Clean room. Mattress not great very springy and going in all directions and had to ask for a duvet the second night to lie on to get some sleep. This was disappointing Bar good. Booked for dinner but service was sadly lacking, food ok. Outside balcony good to sit outside and staff table service was good Spectacular view from the room and may visit again ”

“I think i was booked into the smallest room ive ever had in a hotel. A bit larger than a broom closet. In addition, the bed was hard and NOT well suited for a night's sleep. Not particularly pleasant. Alternatively, the front desk clerk was unfailingly pleasant and helpful.”
