"OMG. Where to start? 3 minute walk from ferry port. Staff super sweet, welcoming and attentive. The rooms were impecable, complete amenities, rooms had aesthetic/romantic vibes with views to the pool and multiple courtyards. The breakfast was out of this world. DO NO STAY ONLY ONE NIGHT*** This place is totally worth experiencing for at least 2 nights. No AC unit, just heating available. We were there during the spring and it go pretty cold early in the morning. Mini fridge in room. Water can get super hot. They greeted us with a house made lemonade with some ginger and cucumber. We truly had a magical time during our stay. Super quiet and tranquil. "

"Lovely stay at Hotel Miranda in Hydra. The host was very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious, highlight was the homemade marmalade from the orange trees in the courtyard. The property is a beautiful historic building. It is well located, an easy walk to the port and restaurants."

"The property was lovely! We came when it was very early in the season (early April) so lots of kids using the spa pool area as a kids pool, not incredibly relaxing but we didn't mind. Beach bar was being renovated as we were there. Breakfast buffet was nice, but evening buffet wasn't great - we had a car so could drive to local restaurants to get much better options for cheaper. Local area is lovely if you're planning on just staying in the hotel and using the beach - we wanted to go out and explore each day so that meant driving out to different places. Overall we kept saying 'this would be lovely in summer' - think that we came too early in the season to enjoy the full benefit of the hotel but it worked for what we needed. "

"Great boutique hotel (family owned & operated) a relative short walk (but up hill) from the ferry port and shops & restaurants. The hotel has a great old world Greek vibe with a very friendly snd helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again if I ever visit Hydra again. "

"Arrived past midnight and still the young gentleman at reception welcomed us with a smile and spoke perfect English with the children. The room was spotless, clean and tidy, despite the age of the fittings. We are becoming regulars, as we tend to stay here after a flight and before catching a ferry to the islands. Nikolakakis rooms is an option that has worked for us, every time. Looking forward to coming back on our next holiday in Greece."

"Excellent value, excellent location, about 5 minutes from the port, excellent amenities, very clean, and nice host. Shower had hot water, kitchen was well-stocked, there was a Nespresso machine and host provided some capsules, dry coffee, and a nice welcome gift. During our stay around Christmas, there were a few very windy days with highs in the low 50s F. Only negative was the rooms are drafty and with the strong winds even with both heaters running continuously, temps never got above about 62F in the rooms. "
