“A good stay at an atmospheric late 16c traditional English Inn . Rooms comfortable with good modern en suite . Log fires in the bar and a carved wood panelled dining room. The beer ,the food (traditional pub fayre)and service was wonderful. The breakfast was great with ample choice of cooked and continental on offer. Helen the manageress was welcoming and most efficient . She managed the property very well indeed. We couldn’t hope for more and would definitely stay again .”

“We had a lovely stay at the Royal Oak. Hannah was extremely helpful and was quick to respond when i accidentally deleted the message with the keycode! The room was extremely comfortable and clean. We had a superb meal in the pub, and the staff were very friendly. The room was peaceful and quiet, and we enjoyed the views and a glorious sunset. “They told me I didn't have a room and told me to go out.They couldn't even find my reservation. The 'hotels.com' said I had no problem at all. It's only a matter of hotel. This hotel doesn't have a conversation. They just told me to leave without any intention of solving my problem. You can be nervous ahead of your trip. Are you sure you should stay here?”
