“The room was clean and comfortable- bed a bit low and no armchair to sit in. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Staff were helpful and very friendly”

“Staff were lovely and the room was delightful. As always, the location is perfect for walking. Service in the restaurant is friendly but has room for improvement (eg taking plates away promptly, and presenting wine at the right temperature (red wine temp was good on one day, but far too cold the next). It would be useful when booking if it were clearer that there is a restricted menu Sun - Tues. Overall, we really appreciate the welcome here.”

“Great location about 10 minutes drive into the City. Large, clean room with tea, coffee etc and fresh milk in fridge & bottled water too. Quirky room as part of an old pub so floors a little uneven and steepish staircase to get to rooms, but didn’t detract from the stay. Breakfast was delicious and staff all extremely friendly & helpful. As it’s a pub, you are obviously aware of noises from the pub during the day and evening but as soon as it closes, it’s very quiet.”

“Lovely spacious room with large en-suite. Very clean with water, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Lovely little extra were the complimentary chocolates and sweets. Breakfast was excellent, excellent options, I had the Avocado on toast with poached eggs which was delicious and coffee was also good quality. Would highly recommend this hotel. Was great value.”

“Room was very clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. Excellent meals and friendly helpful staff, Nice views over the golf course though not being a golf player I can't comment on the quality of the course, but it looked well maintained with the help of robotic lawn mowers. Swimming pool was pleasant to use and at good temperature. All in all we very much enjoyed our stay at this Hotel.”

“Lovely old building with lots of history , well situated in the heart of Ledbury so close to shops , restaurants , pubs etc . Staff were very friendly and helpful . We had an evening meal which was enjoyable and service was excellent. Great choice for breakfast and once again the service was good and efficient. The room was adequate , bed was comfortable and linen clean . It was quirky as befitting a 500 year old property with sloping floors . Bathroom was small as was the shower but that’s to...
