“I stay here regularly and always have a very comfortable sleep, the rooms are lovely with plenty of space, adjustable heating and a rather confusing TV remote! water is hot, beds are comfy, bottles of water and tea of coffee in the room but sadly no decaffeinated coffee. Good breakfast, great choice, made fresh, though do object to the cleaner mopping the floor during breakfast service making the floor very slippery (a worry for someone who has just had recent hip replacements) I have mentioned...

“Rooms very spacious and comfortable. The communal areas especially the restaurant were not very warm. Very limited space for guests to enjoy a drink in the evening. There is a bar area outside of the restaurant but it was not staffed. Staff were very efficient and friendly.”

“Lovely place, friendly staff and excellent location Unfortunately the wall between rooms was so thin I could hear every moment of my neighbour all night. Also the pillows are terrible- made for a very uncomfortable nights sleep. I appreciate you can’t do anything about the soundproofing in such a lovely old building but the pillows are a very cheep easy fix Would stay again but not whilst working! ”

“Firstly let me caveat that I love this property and this is my 3rd stay. My only minor gripe is that in the evening the water was at very best.....lukewarm. It was hot in the morning but sometimes I prefer to shower in evening instead. The hotel and staff are amazing as was the breakfast.”
