“This property was ideal for an easy transfer from the airport. The property itself was beautiful, serene, clean and intimate. The staff was genuinely helpful. The property is about a forty minute walk from the beach, but taxi is readily available for the fair price of five pesos. There are a multiple range of tours that will pick you up at the hotel and you may request scheduling and pick-up via the front desk. ”

“If you don’t mind staying a bit outside Hanga Roa, then Hostal Pukao is a great option. It’s quiet and rustic. We traveled during the shoulder season so it was especially quiet, with roosters the only real noise. The walk into town is easy — almost all downhill. Coming back at day’s end was uphill on a full stomach so that’s something to consider, but we never minded. There’s a small market down the street and a communal kitchen on the premises.
