"What a gem!! We stayed for 4 days. Had to readjust our arrival and departure date at last minute due to typhoon Shanshan☹️. They even refunded our last day stay without asking as we had to leave a day earlier due to approaching typhoon.We arrived at midnight by train and the manager met us on site to welcome us and explain everything. Having a washer and dryer in one machine on site saved us! We would do a load of laundry every night and in the morning have clean clothes. Saved a lot of time...

"Amazing. I will be back. Literally a 5 star experience walking distance to the most beautiful area in Kyoto. Very easy to access anything you want; food, shopping, shrines, metro and trains. The staff couldn’t be more kind always arranging taxis or giving suggestions of where to go and eat etc.. I was sad to leave this hotel. That doesn’t happen very often in traveling. "Our favorite hotel in Japan! It's so close to the station, lots of busses, shopping, eating nearby. The staff was so helpful- they filled out my Yamato shipping form for me and took care of things. The only annoyance is that despite using a key card, the elevator always stops and opens at floor 2. The laundry facilities were very nice and you could check on them on the TV (to see how much time was left or if they were free). I also loved how the pajamas were two piece variety! "
