"The location and grounds were stunning and incredibly well kept. The children had lots of green space to play and explore and be up close with the animals. Our deck was expansive which made for lovely evenings watching the sun go down behind the hills and the sky change colour. Rooms were clean and modern, exceptionally comfortable bed. We will welcomed upon arrival with a glass of port - nice touch. "All good except the breakfast. It is not on site you get a voucher to go elsewhere. With the Covid I thought this was not right as we weren't informed of this beforehand. We specifically chose a place that included breakfast so that we did not have to go out in Beaufort West. We had to take a takeaway breakfast delivered to us from the place called 4 Sheep and it was disgusting and cold. If you stay there DO NOT include breakfast. "

"Loved our stay at Aquila! We stayed in the family room which was very spacious & had a patio area outside. All the food was lovely with a big selection from the buffet. We had African wood massages in the spa and used their facilities which were lovely. The grounds are big and spacious and you can sometimes see animals from your windows But of course the best bit were the safaris, we loved the drives seeing all the animals in the reserve my mum also swapped one of the drives for a horse riding...
