“I stayed for one night as I was attending a function nearby so only needed a place to sleep for the evening. The room I was in was super warm and cosy and had everything I needed. I had a private bathroom across the landing which was decent enough. The bed was comfy. The host is simply lovely, such a welcoming lady. For the price I was very happy. ”

“The hotel was in the perfect location for the rail station, which was the reason for booking. The hotel was adequate in regards to their facilities, and the owner was very friendly, which is always a plus. The room was small, but fine for an overnight stay. It was a little bit musty in smell, though probably just needed airing a little bit more. Breakfast was reasonable and I was accommodated for allergies and preference. ”

“Lovely family run B&B, the veggie breakfasts are nice, the rooms are comfortable, we loved the electric fire as it was a cold few days. Great location in the centre of the village next to shops and we had some meals from the chippy just down the road. Free parking on-site. ”

Minor downside is lack of parking (but there are side streets and car parks nearby - it just took us a little while to find one late on a Friday evening).
