Recently stayed at this hotel while visiting for the Polar Express experience, and unfortunately, it fell short of expectations.
The beds were extremely uncomfortable. They dipped at the ends, forcing you to sleep sideways for any back support, which was even worse when sharing the queen bed. We woke up exhausted every morning from tossing and turning. There was hair on the floor in the bathroom, urine stains on the back of the toilet lid, and dust on the lamps in the room. One light in the entrance of our room didn’t work, and we even found two spiders. One of the spiders caused a major scare when my 5-year-old screamed while using the bathroom. I had to barge in to help because they were so frightened. It was an unpleasant situation that only added to the poor impression. Additionally, the TV guide card in one of our rooms was sticky and dirty, which could have easily been replaced.
We appreciated the convenience of having a dining option in the hotel, but the experience was disappointing. We found hair in our food while dining. We made the server aware, and they discounted our meal, which was appreciated, but it still added to the overall dissatisfaction of our stay.
The saving grace of our stay was the front desk staff. They were incredibly kind, professional, and accommodating. We required an ADA-accessible room that connected to our children’s room, and they went above and beyond to assist us. Even helping us move rooms smoothly.
