The front desk at check in was incredibly rude. When we got there, I kindly asked he charge a different card than I used when reserving the room. He told me no problem, took the new card, and charged the old one. When I told him he did it wrong, I asked him to please refund and use the correct card. He then told me “this is why we shouldn’t change cards” and I told him this is why we should listen to customers. I was very kind and patient up to this moment. He had a nasty attitude after that. When we got out of the elevator, we were immediately hit with a disgusting musty smell. Our room also reeked. We were only staying one night, and I didn’t want to deal with the man at the front desk, so we sucked it up. It is a shame because the hotel is in a very convenient location, and has potential. But they need to do something about their employees, and also the absolute stench on the third floor, I’m sure it is on all floors/rooms.
