“The tropical cottages was a spectacular place to stay. Online check in did not work well and the lady i dealt with when i arrived spoke zero English, although she did get me checked in and showed me to my cottage. The scenery outside the cottage was beautiful, and the cottage itself was inviting and comfortable. I would stay again in a heartbeat. ”

“Everything was lovely except I felt rushed on my departure date. A front desk representative knocked around 9am to find out what time I was leaving. If your check out policy is 11am, you should not knock on people’s door to find out what time they are planning on leaving. It doesn’t feel like a luxurious experience when you do. In addition to the early knock, the entire housekeeping staff was waiting by my front door when I checked out at 10:25. What if I wasn’t checking out at 10:25 and was...

“Had a wonderful time. So much to do in the area. We enjoyed the Cabana Club beach only a short drive away and included in the fee. We were there for the coldest week of the year. The maintenance gentleman, Scott and his assistant were kind enough to bring a hard to find space heater that kept us toasty warm as well a giving spot on recommendations for great places to eat. Some construction in the area but tolerable. Hope to return someday. ”

“Love this place! Very friendly and secluded. Not your typical resort-look elsewhere if that’s what you want. But if you want a friendly private sailing camp where you hang out with other fun people and like to sail and kayak, this is absolutely it! The use of the sailboat alone more than pays for the room.”

“We loved our stay and the central / gated location was perfect! The view from all of the rooms balconies face the water to enjoy the sunset and it’s small enough to feel very private. Loved the bar restaurant, The Black Siren, next door! The service, food and drinks were perfect! Yes, it a bit dated but we knew that and it added to the fishing village vibe. We would definitely stay again! ”

“There’s a reason all the reviews scored so high. You’d be hard pressed to find a more private and inspired place while in Maui! Fabulous doesn’t describe how well the grounds are maintained. The staff was equally excellent looking after your every desire. Directly on the beach with free use of all their equipment. I can’t say enough good things. You’ll regret staying anywhere else!”

“The unit we stayed in was very clean, beds comfy. The unit itself is showing some wear and tear but that did NOT affect the cleanliness. The view of the ocean was why i chose to stay here and was not disappointed. The patios of each unit are fairly close and do not lend alot of privacy--not genetally a problem, unless the neighbors decide to get affectionate (if you know what I mean 😀) The pool was clean and offered plenty of seating. I would definitely stay here again.”
