"We went midweek in july 2025. Plenty of on street parking, with a blue badge is free. Nice shopping street, a stones throw from the sea front and beach and the station. For steam trains. Hotel was lovely, renovated, very nicely done. We booked deluxe double, it was very big, really lovely, sea front , perfect. Minehead is close to the moor, short drive up to viewing points. Excellent fish and chips next to the station. Not been to minehead for decades and was pleasantly surprised how nice theyve made it especially the sea front. All dog friendly including the hotel. Would recommend. "

" Bijou but perfectly formed and very comfortable. We mentioned the curtain rail was coming away from the wall and they were on it. The food and service was fantastic. We ate in the pub next door both nights and were very pleased with the standard of the food. The only critique was the meat pie, although tender and full of meat, it was very dry as though under a heat lamp for a while. The staff were super helpful and friendly. It is slightly more pricey than some hotels but the view and position contribute to this. A quality small hotel and would go again."

"This was our first stay at the Northfield Hotel and likely won't be our last. The building is fantastic, beautiful, spacious and has lovely character. The parking was easy in the Hotels car park and the garden was incredible to walk around & so well looked after. The hotel also boasts a fantastic pool, jacuzzi and gym. We loved the jacuzzi. With Minehead beach literally a 2 minute walk as well as the main High Street just a stones throw away it was so convienent and nice not to have to drive unnecessarily. Plenty of shops nearby, restaraunts, pubs and more to keep all entertained. The hotel staff were amazing; inviting, friendly, smartly dressed, polite and couldn't do enough for us and our small dog. That is another reason we chose the North Field Hotel as it is wonderful being able to include our dog on our holidays as he is as much a member of our family as children would be. There was plenty to keep him entertained with the large garden to explore and the beach has a year round dog friendly space for him to go running and digging on. He also loved his sausage breakfast supplied free of charge by the Hotal staff. Highly recommend. "

"An excellent location for a walking weekend. Check in from 3.30 only but there’s lovely walks from the village to keep you busy. Check in was good with a friendly welcome. The room was comfortable and clean. You cloud hear the owl in the woods at night it was such a peaceful location. We had a wonderful evening meal, a little more than we might pay at home but it was beautifully cooked and value for money. Breakfast was equally delicious. I had the superfood breakfast. Sourdough toast. Smoked salmon poached egg scattered with mixed seeds. Lovely. Great service excellent night away. "
