“This is great value for money with easy access to all the local sights. We spent two days here and from the wonderful welcome until we left they were attentive and friendly. There is a fantastic pool which is needed after day trips out and about. ”

“Loved our stay at Eden Garden whilst visiting the cultural triangle. Room clean, comfortable and spacious. All of the staff were excellent. Helped us organise trips in the area (Polonnaruwa, Sigiriya and Eco-park safari) as well as onward transport to our next destination. Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner was served with a smile and tasted amazing. Highly recommend rice and curry (various choices), served with different vegetable side dishes and sambal. We didnt feel the need to dine anywhere...

“Property is not found at 53 Riverside Road, Matale. Given phone is switched off but he answered on the previous day and asked us to come. According to him weather was ok but weather was terreble and came back home because no place to stay at the night. I had to block my card as well. The worst experience I have ever had. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“Beautiful peaceful property in the middle of nature room with plunge pool was spectacular! Take a bike ride around the rice fields and see so many beautiful birds. I will come back and stay longer next time!”

“The hotel is average. Rooms are clean and spacious. Amenities are good. What I didn’t like is the breakfast dining hall which is open from all sides and flies are roaming around. The butter was left open which should have been covered to ensure hygiene. Lots need to be improved.”

“全体的にはリラックスして過ごせる良いホテルだと思いますが、少しだけ気になった点もあります。部屋にゴミ箱、タオル類が置いてなかったこと、ホテルまでの道のりが夜は暗くて、野良犬がいて怖かったこと、それから、どこからか部屋の中に蚊が入って来て、夜は蚊に悩まされました。蚊の対策はなんとかやってほしいなと思います。その他は静かに過ごすことのできる落ち着いたホテルだと思います。プールもあるので、水着持参でプールで泳ぐのがおすすめかと思います。スタッフもフレンドリーで親切でした。良いホテルだが、今後の頑張りにさらに期待。”

“Location - I am a regular guest at this property. It’s a bit of a heaven , utterly relaxing, surrounded by nature. The quality of my sleep always improves when staying at the property. The hosts, Supipi and Uthpala are super hosts. The meals are mostly made by Supipi herself and of course delicious. This time stayed for 6 days, could have easily stayed longer. Will definitely return.”

“Great staff which prevented me from giving one star. No wifi input rooms, no television channels except for one, swimming pool was out of order and lost goes on. Problem is not withthe staff - it is the owners of the hotel. Avoid LSR group hotels! There are better places to spend your money ”

“It's the grounds that made me fall in love with this place. Intimate & beautiful but big enough that you can stretch out your legs by strolling through well cared for gardens. Lots of flowers. A small bubbling river wraps around the property & there is this perfect spot along the river where you can sit on a bench and take in the sounds of the forest and the view of mountains in the distance. Pure bliss! The hotel itself is close to the main highway, but tucked just far enough back from the road...
