“I booked this room at 7:48am on Friday 13th, October 2017 for the same day. Upon arriving at the hotel, the manager states that she cancelled my booking at 7:50am because there were no rooms available. No apology. Rooms were still listed on Expedia as available. I received no official correspondence regarding this cancellation.I was told by the front desk that they can cancel it on their system but I would need to call Expedia to let them know the situation. I am currently awaiting a refund....

“The property and rooms are a bit dated. That being said, it is always clean and staff are friendly. I was in a garden room and still had a view of the ocean. So really, there are no 'bad' rooms on the property in my opinion. Pond area next to pool needs some TLC to return it to its former glory. Speaking of pool, it is large, clean and you can use it at ANY time. That was a bonus! Would have been nice to have the pool bar operational, if only for a few hours. “What a wonderful stay, with lots of personal touches which are not always given by larger establishments. The area around the property is quiet. It is approximately a 20 - 30 mins walk into Crown Point/ Store Bay beach. Breakfast was excellent - local delicacies served. Kay and Stein were exceptional hosts. All in all, an enjoyable stay. Looking forward to returning soon. Thank you.”
