“Very nice hotel with excellent service ”

“Loved our room (#7) and the wonderful private outdoor lounge space. Staff was very nice (the night agent could have been more friendly), restaurant staff was great as was the registration desk agent who greeted us. The view of the beach and the hillside houses was really lovely. Breakfast was very good but nothing special. Dinner at Blue was outstanding as was our lunch at TheOyster Lounge. “We loved our little chalet which was really comfortable and immaculately clean . It was a little hot even with the air con on but the outside temperature was over 40 degrees which is very unusual . The food in the restaurant is great and the pool area is nice . There are tame deer who are really sweet and hang around the chalets in the morning . “We loved this place! The ocean view from our room was spectacular. We checked out a few other places in town that are more expensive and the view from the Linhof is the best! Breakfast was excellent. Shirley, the manager who runs this place, merits special mention. She helped us get our bags upstairs, served us our breakfast and always had a smile and a kind word.
