“Location to Grandfather Mountain was great. A/C was great. Kitchen does not have some basic utensils and is not fully supplied (as advertised) - fortunately there is a Food Lion nearby where we bought what should have been supplied. Sofa and chairs did not feel clean and we put a sheet over the sofa. Beds and bed linens were good and clean. But, great place to have a family get-together to attend the nearby Highland Games at Grandfather Mountain.”

“A hidden gem! I was very satisfied with this property! The king room that I purchased was huge and very nicely decorated with modern decor. Everything was extremely clean. The only complaint I have is that the attendant at the front desk kept telling me the deposit did not go through but when I checked later, the payment had been processed three times!! Not a huge concern because it will be credited back, however, the issue caused a huge delay with checking in. Keep in mind the price you pay...

“Bless their hearts, they tried to make it into a high end resort. They hired all the prettiest teenagers in town who are happy to bring you as many $30 glasses of OK wine as you can drink. Here are a few suggestions: Figure out how to get a passing grade on the restaurant sanitation score. Fix the elevators, or, at least Repair and paint the stairwells. Stop trying to sell the beach clamshell shades, useless.”
