“Hotel is near the Oboke station which is why we booked it. Excellent hospitality as the hotel customised to its guests. We had a crane origami from the Singapore national flag in our room. At the dining table, the national flag was also displayed. The hotel provides pick up and drop off shuttle service to the Oboke station. The kaiseki dinner is not really that impressive as I had better ones from other hotels in other parts of Japan Hotel gave discount vouchers for the Oboke boat rides so...

“Loved my stay here. The location was great, just a short walk to the main vine bridge in Iya Valley. But it's also secluded enough to really feel the remoteness of Iya Valley. My room was wonderful, very well appointed and clean. The high point was the staff. They were all wonderful and kind, and went above and beyond during my stay. They even drove me to the bus stop in the morning so that I wouldn't have to walk with my suitcase. I would absolutely stay here again.”

“This is a very unique house in a beautiful location. Fantastic views out over the Iya valley. The house has beautiful wooden floorboards and a thatch and bamboo roof and has modern heating kitchen and bathroom facilities.”
