“Nice hotel country location plenty of facilities. Would stay again.”

“Modern, clean and efficient hotel”

“Lovely little hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful, nice big bed and room for a very reasonable price!”

“Perfect stay for what we needed. The reception and bar staff were excellent and went out their way to help with anything we needed on arrival. Food was good in the bar and at breakfast. Would return”

“Stayed a few of nights. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were really friendly and welcoming.”

“The layout is idea”

“Staff were very helpful, especially when we arrived later than planned. The room was as-described and expected.”

“This is an old pub with all of the character you would expect. The location is great and the staff are excellent. It is not the Ritz - but it is clean and affordable. Can be some ambient noise, but that depends on room and time of night. Breakfast was excellent - poached eggs with smoked salmon. Lots of choices.”

“Convenient, cheap place to stay overnight. Friendly staff, clean room and comfortable bed, but the whole place feels a bit tired.”

“The tv Ariel didn’t work , tiny poorly maintained room”

“Nice little gaff staff were great 👍”

“Booked as we had an early flight from East Midlands airport. Owner met us soon after we arrived. Nice room, great comfy bed, very good shower. Advised there was a good restaurant just down the road (15 min walk) which we visited and had a very tasty meal. Left in the morning too early for breakfast, but not host’s fault. Very good nights sleep. Plenty of parking. Road to airport a bit narrow and windy, but we made it in plenty of time. Would recommend.”
