“Overall stay was OK. Have been many times before and would go again. However, not sure if unlucky with the room on this occasion. The toilet was very slow filling after flush. Kettle leaked water making it unsafe to use, so didn't use it. Fridge was difficult to open due to door leaning towards floor and needed to prop it up. Would make sure I'm in a different room if I stay again.”

“As always the staff are welcoming, friendly, personal and professional. The room was spatious, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast : delicious. I’ve now stayed at the Dixie around 14 times!! Highly recommend.”

“Individual chalets. Motel style with ample parking. Rooms heated day and night. Shower hot and powerful. Bed comfortable. Pub and restaurant on site. Staff work hard but avoid breakfast Sunday morning 9 a.m.rush hour . We waited 35 minutes for order to be taken it arrived 20 minutes after. Easy to find as 5 minutes from motorway junction. Enjoyable and relaxing stay. ”

“Spent a fantastic night here this past weekend, from the moment we checked in all the staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming (we were even wished a good morning by the housekeeping staff we passed in the corridor as we were leaving!), the food and service in the restaurant were also both good and breakfast in the morning offered a great selection of choices. The two rooms we had were both clean and well presented (and close together a we had requested at the time of booking). Super...

“Yes and Yes. 1 point. As an older person, my head is dropping to bits. I have a single tooth denture. Such thing is quite small. I tend to brush it under a running tap. Had I done this, there would have been a severe danger of it disappearing down the plughole and lost for ever (Cost £250). Because the plug mechanism is missing which leaves the drain hole completely open! (Room 5).”

“Room was clean and modern, I had to switch the electric radiator off in the night cos of the noise it was making and to top it off not really the hotels fault but kids on scrambler bikes were racing on the field in the night.”
