“Nice old pub building in the centre of the small town. Down stairs arras were very nice with a cosy and traditional atmosphere. On checking in was advised kitchen was closed for 2 of the 3 nights. Breakfast (American pancakes) was very poor. Room was ok but tired around the edges. Very few power points and signs of a long term leak from shower which is always off putting. A REALLY noisy AC/ chiller unit below the bedroom window was pretty annoying Not a bad place, but at £145 a night i...

“The WiFi was not working from the minute we arrived until the minute we left. Staff said that as it was the weekend they were chasing their IT support person to come to the hotel but he refused as he was several hours drive away. Shocking, they should sack him. Don't come to this hotel if you don't like dogs because they're everywhere to be seen & as you know dogs are smelly, annoying to look at or be around and generally pointless in every possible way.”

“Lovely breakfast. Chararacterful farmhouse in a beautiful setting. It was lovely to sit outside our room and watch the sunset.”

“Beware, there is no elevator. Parking is nonexistent, and I had to park on the street, but at least it was free after 6 pm and since it was Saturday/sunday, it was free. There was a problem with the boiler, and there was no hot water, but we worked around that.The hotel itself was built in the 1600 s and so was quaint and beautiful. Food was great, service was great, and the coffee perfect.”
