“Nice old pub building in the centre of the small town. Down stairs arras were very nice with a cosy and traditional atmosphere. On checking in was advised kitchen was closed for 2 of the 3 nights. “Lovely gardens. Friendly helpful staff but no-one was able to say where alternative parking could be although we we very lucky to have got a parking spot within the hotel. We would like to have refrozen our ice packs so that we could buy food for a picnic lunch and keep it all cool but only discovered that we could do this by chance and when it was too late. Clean and tidy room but one clean towel had an old brown stain on it. Bathroom needs updating in the Club bedroom and get rid of the shower...
