“Room was poorly lit and well worn, with broken tiles in the bathroom. Something black was on part of the ceiling and beds were uncomfortable. Door didn’t always catch to shut and we had to giggle the handle to get it to work. Room was spacious, but that is the only positive thing we can say about it.”

“Fantastic location 2 blocks from Main Street in Ouray. Quiet neighborhood, and nice curb appeal. The rooms are small but very adequate. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Hot showers!!! The staff is the difference at Black Bear Manor. They are friendly, helpful, and there when you need them. The snacks and the breakfast are 5 Star!!! We ended up staying an extra night because we couldn’t stand the thought of leaving!!! Kudos to Black Bear!!!”

“This motel has one of the best locations to downtown Steamboat Springs people. We’ve stayed there numerous times and I’ve never been unhappy with the facility or the personnel. They have tended to go out of their way to help. Though a bit more the river view rooms are exceptional.”
