“Very unusual building with intriguing history! Lovely view. Hostess Roxanne was really helpful and looked after our requirements whilst we were there. It is quite ‘far off the beaten track’ so arranging transport during your stay( beforehand)is recommended. Rooms clean and tastefully furnished, nice towels and good shower/ toilets. ”

“Hillsborough is a bit of a shanty town..all the action seems to be in Tyrell Bay now,but Jonas and his people do a great job in my view anyway. Light breakfast and good local menu at night including fresh seafood with a little Japanese local interpretation was very nice...no beach out the front...but I enjoyed my stay here..Thanks Jonas.. ”

“The staff are very friendly and respectful, the services is excellent. As for the property, the shower did not work properly, there was no cold water in the shower, the water was scorching hot. Too much light coming in to the rooms at night because the drapes are hanging too low under the arch window. This can be remedied with new drapes to hang above the arch window ”
