“Very pretty views of the ocean and town from our terrace!!! A short 10 minute walk to the beach, the hotel tram was very helpful for getting around as well. The hotel room was clean and felt safe. ”

“It was prehaps a bit overpriced. But it was very central and I enjoyed the pool area and the staff was very pleasant. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and had a huge washroom. Not refrigerator though. Lastly, right across the street is a grocery store. The breakfast was ok. ”

“The only option available for us was a family style room. It was spacious in that there were two queen beds and a sitting area. Our patio was completely secluded due to the trees in front. The property itself is so beautifully landscaped. Your stress will melt away! The staff is friendly and accomodating. I asked for an iron and one was delivered promptly, though they weren't sure if there were any. It was away from the town area and anything you do away from there will cost a grip to get to....

“Unfortunately I did not have the best experience at this hotel. First night had to get the front desk to help me get rid of a HUGE spider & there were cockroaches in the hotel room. It hurt to shower because the pressure was so strong. The windows are bolted shut so it feels like you are a bit of a prisoner. Not the safest area.. I’m not sure why there are so many good reviews about playa Hermosa. I would recommend Taramindo and Flamingo ”

“My wife and I are used to all inclusive type resorts, and recently have not been very happy with the experience. If you want a true taste of Costa Rica this is where to stay for an exceptionally great deal and walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. The rooms are modest, but exceptionally clean. This is the last time we're gonna stand in an all inclusive buffet line of mediocre food and employees that hate you. This is our first time to Costa Rica and won't be the last.”
