“The room was so small that there was no table and no two suitcases. They use a large piece of washi paper and use it, and even though it's a mordant, the smell of mordant, stinky garbage. The smell enters the room.”

“They have done a wonderful job with this property. The hotel surrounds a beautiful courtyard with tables and chairs a small pool/ hot tub and there is a large roof top patio. The front veranda’s are a nice place to relax as well. The staff are excellent and helped with all of our needs. “We've just stayed at La Rosa de Ortega for a week. It was amazing! The area is really quiet, but still distinctively Cuban. For us, living in Havana Vieja would definitely not have been as relaxing as living a little bit outside of the main area. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes with a local Taxi to get to the main attractions of Havana. But you can easily spend a whole day staying at La Rosa de Ortega without going to the city.
