“For a roadside motel this was above average, but not worthy of the rave reviews that brought me to stay here. It appears to be more of a bicyclists overnight stop. There is no early check-in unless you count the 30 minutes if you register yourself online. Staff arrived promptly at 3:30. For unknown reasons we were given a room with a swivel-in seat in the bathtub (like the one my 93 year old mother uses.) I took it out and used it as a luggage rack. “Positives: the place was very clean and comfortable. Negatives: the room was too dim; it needed more or brighter lights. I needed another wash cloth and wasn’t able to figure out how to get one. Trying to communicate with the staff via e mail was difficult.”

“Nice place to stay. Very clean. The shower didn't have great pressure, so for someone who has a lot of hair, it took a long time to rinse out the shampoo. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close to grocery store, gas station and fast food. I would stay there again and it felt kind of off the beaten path, but minutes to a lot of things and downtown. I would recommend it. There is not a true restaurant now, but I was told by staff there will be one opening soon. They do have a buffet style breakfast...

“We were very disappointed by the lack of amenities available, even though they were advertised. We were directed to the Peak Cafe by a staff member, only to discover the Peak Cafe was shut down and not operating.
