“We stayed at the Rustic Rook due to the proximity to Great Sand Dunes NP. It was extremely quiet, as it was during the week just after labor day -- only one other tent was occupied, which made it relaxing but also a little scary! We stopped in Alamosa for some easy dinner options, but the other couple staying at the time took advantage of the resorts option to have dinner items to grill. It was VERY windy and it rained off an on but the tents stayed dry inside and warm with the wood-burning...

“This is perfect for a couple. We did see a bball hoop, horseshoe pit and volleyball net. Wish we knew we would have had some extra fun. There was a firepit but didnt know how to work it which sucked but overall recommend.”
