“The cottage was in a perfect location for us. The town centre of Ruthin is within walking distance and there are many interesting destinations a short drive away. The cottage was clean and all the essentials were provided. The bedding and towels were of good quality and the bed was very comfortable. There is secure off-road parking and the garden is fenced around. There is a tall step between the back door and the gravelled garden, but Ruthin is hilly so this should not be a surprise! ”

However, the thing we appreciated most about the listing in the end was its location. “Not very clean, kitchen smells as bins with rotten food left in. Parking problematic in the area (which is easy to understand) but it might be better to set the scene rather than claim free parking? Hard to tell if bed sheets were clean and laundered tbh. Shower rail/head broken and taped up, not what you expect for the money. ”

“Our apartment had everything and more that we needed to enjoy our stay. It had a well equipped kitchen in order to cook a variety of meals. The lounge and bedroom areas were comfortable, and the bathroom had a spacious shower unit. There was also had a parking space right next to the door. Will be booking again!”
