“Located far down the peninsula from Rockland at Spruce Head, Craignair Inn boasts panoramic views and oceanfront dining. Our room, one of 16, was on the third floor and nicely remodeled. There is no elevator and the stairs are steep; but assistance with our luggage was offered. The inn also contains the Causeway restaurant serving casually elegant dinners. Our meals were memorable. We would definitely come back on future trips.”

“There are many things we LOVED about this stay. The doube sided fireplace, the huge soaking tub, the double balconies with the beautiful views. The bed was very comfy and the hotel is very convenient to all things Camden. However, there was a piece of trash that was left in the shower along with what appeared to be a cleaning rag. The plug for the tub had mold on the interior and there was chipped paint on the wall around the tv. A little more attention to detail and the room would have...

“What can I say? This hotel is absolutely amazing…fantastic…wonderful. There aren’t enough adjectives to describe it. I spend half the year traveling…mostly overseas. I stay in countless hotels. I think this is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I live in Maine about an hour and a half away from Rockport. My wife and I needed to get away from things for a weekend. I found this on hotels.com, and thought I would give it a try. Boy, did we hit the jackpot. A LOT of thought went into this hotel....
