"What a gem! We had a lovely 2-night stay at Alparthotel surrounding one day of skiing at Champery. The hotel is lovely, quiet, and clean. It is an easy walk from the Chemin de Verger bus stop. We did not have a car and were able to walk to a Coop nearby (grocery store and restaurant). The rooms were comfortable and modern. Would definitely recommend!"

"The accommodation was a bit cramped for five people with luggage, with limited storage. A sixth person spotless have been impossible Ski room not heated, so we took our ski boots back to the room each night to stay warm to aid in putting them in the next day Very helpful at reception Good dining options"

"We’ve been to this hotel 3 years ago and we loved it. That’s why we returned this year. The place is nice, good parking, close to the train, nice pool, nice view, clean. But this time the furniture was no longer in good condition: bed was broken, the couch also had a problem - was difficult to sleep, the chairs looked bad even if they had a cover. And it wasn’t only in our room as our friends had the same in their apartment. That’s a pitty as the property is great."

Unfortunately, the development lacks from an attention to detail in a number of areas, including the fixtures and fittings and the layout of the kitchenette. The swimming pool and sauna were overcrowded. There is a general unclarity whether parking, wifi, towels and sheets are included or excluded from the rental, with staff at the front-desk not being able to provide clarity."

Rooms were great and the shower/bath were brill - warm and comfortable. Boot room was great but lacking a bit of seating and was always wet on the floor - the lockers needed hooks. "Easily accessible right at the end of platform 1 but guests should be informed of this prior to stay. Very slow reception staff with not much personality but reception ambience lovely with the Freddie pics & music. Standard Room was fine on 4th floor - no view although on lake side & tap was slow to drain and drains smelt a little. "Old school and old building. Excellent location and views, spacious rooms, fine service. The amenities were ok. The main issue is smoking. A non smoking hotel that hands out matches in every room, what do you think it’s going to happen? If you’re a smoker it’s for you. For me it was always an exercise in opening the windows to get the smell out of the room and close them quickly when the suicidal monkey next door smoked in their balcony"

"Great hotel, amazing staff and incredible accommodations. We traveled with family and reserved 2 rooms, bot were extremely clean and had plenty of room for several suitcases. The bathrooms were spacious and had all of the basic necessities. The outside garden and closeness to the lake, makes this hotel a top notch option. The cost is very affordable and the staff is amazing. Ara was our server both at the hotel bar and at breakfast time, and she exceeded all of our expectations, she is professional, friendly and extremely helpful with providing sightseeing recommendations. The entire staff of this hotel is incredible and very pleasant. The hotel owners are very fortunate to have such a great group of professionals woerking there. Thank you for an incredible experience."
