“It was awesome from the minute I arrived. Family owned business that went out of their way to ensure every detail was covered. Helped book excursions, gave suggestions on things to do. The food was incredible, everything I had and I had at least 2 meals there a day was delicious. The waitresses were friendly and responsive The bartenders were all so much fun with great personalities. Gave average rating on noise but learned turn AC on and that drowned it out. ”

“Pretty far out location. Very isolated and that can be good sometimes! Be prepared to take an expensive shuttle boat both ways offered twice a day and if you miss it, it's a $150 boat taxi. Cocktails were great! Restaurant was slow with okay food and relatively expensive, but no other options around. Bastimentos is a cool island, I found more to do on the island closer to Bocas Town. ”

“We had a beatiful room with a porch facing the street but with trees and foliage blocking the street for the most part. Nice comfortable chairs on the porch. Disappointed it didn't face the water but after talking to others I think we got a better room. Room was beautiful with little kitchen. No microwave which would have been nice but a stove. Staff were great. Lovely bar and pool area overlooking the ocean. ”

“We loved our stay at this hotel it was very beautiful. We found it a bit tough getting back to our jungle lodge at night. The mountainous terrain was difficult to climb and when we called for shuttles they did not always come quickly. If I knew the terrain I would have tried to book a pricey golf cart for the week. By the time we caught on there were none available and we had to rely on the resort for transport. Not always a great option. ”

“Our family had a wonderful 5 night stay here! We booked a over the water bungalow and it provided a beautiful every day. The staff were great! Alejandro helped us find a sloth that was in the forest behind the hotel. Breakfast was always healthy and yummy. We had dinner once and it was tasty too.
